Award Winning All-Day Breakfast Destination to Expand its Footprint in Columbia, SC!Columbia, SC  (RestaurantNews.com)  The Flying Biscuit Café is cleared to touch down in Columbia, South Carolina as the award-winning restaurant known for offering breakfast all day is set to open a location at 936 Harden Street in Five Points. The Columbia franchise will be owned by Midlands residents John Robert Barth and Kevin N. White. The Flying Biscuit Café will open its doors sometime between mid-November and early December.

With 26 thriving locations, The Flying Biscuit Café brand has been a dominant, regional staple throughout the Southeast since 1993. The eccentric breakfast-and-brunch-all-day concept is known for its welcoming atmosphere and large menu with fresh ingredients that every patron can enjoy.

“The city of Columbia is growing drastically and is also home to the University of South Carolina,” shared Barth and White, who have both lived in the area for over 10 years. “Although there are diners in the area, we think that people will really enjoy the variety and quality that comes with The Flying Biscuit Café.”

Menu items will include a wide range of plates including the Flying Biscuit breakfast, pancake tacos, chorizo hash, shrimp & grits, burgers, patty melt, club sandwich, shrimp Po’boy, steak and eggs, vegetarian and vegan options and gluten-friendly options. Flying Biscuit Five Points will also have a full bar.
