The food chips are starting to fall into place at incoming Barangaroo gaming joint Crown Sydney.

As previously revealed in Good Food, Bridge Room’s Ross Lusted is tipped to front a grill restaurant there, and hatted chef Alessandro Pavoni an Italian eatery.

The locals will be joined by some offshore talent, with the hot gossip centred on a well-known chef out of Hong Kong and confirmation British chef Clare Smyth is joining the party with a restaurant.

The Gordon Ramsay protege will use her London restaurant, Core, as inspiration for her Sydney debut.

The Michelin-starred London eatery prides itself on leaning on natural, sustainable food.

When the restaurant joins the opening action at Crown next February, it’ll be part of 14 restaurants and bars headed into the development.
