Skyrocketing soda concept sets goal to raise $70K for over 40 local organizations chosen by its team members for the annual two-week campaign

Swig to "Share the Love" with 40-plus Charities this Valentine's SeasonSalt Lake City, UT  (RestaurantNews.comSwig, The Home of the Original Dirty Soda™, will host its fourth annual Share The Love campaign from Wednesday, Feb. 14 to Thursday, Feb. 29, to raise funds across all 63 of its locations for local charities and organizations chosen by its team members.

The specialty beverage shop has a goal to raise more than $70,000 over the two-week period.

For the cause, Swig designed a one-of-a-kind Share the Love Crewneck and limited-edition air fresheners and will be donating proceeds from each unit sold to the selected charities. Swig will also donate one dollar for every Dew Gooder sold: Mountain Dew + Pineapple + Fresh Lime + Raspberry Puree + Coconut Cream. Additionally, guests are welcome to add a donation to any order or simply “round up” throughout the campaign.

Each store has selected charities meaningful to its local area of service, including domestic violence centers, cancer treatment and research facilities, as well as nonprofits that provide accessible mental health services, among others. Check out which charity each Swig location is supporting at SwigLove.com.

“Swig has undoubtedly felt the love from all the communities we serve, and it’s an honor and privilege to give back in meaningful ways — especially as we continue to grow across the country and join new neighborhoods,” said Swig CEO Rian McCartan. “Share The Love is made possible because of our passionate team members who choose charities important to them. We are grateful to our Swig family and guests every year for always showing up and giving back in such wonderful ways.”

Swig Founder Nicole Tanner is a breast cancer survivor who personally understands the importance of giving back. As someone who once relied on a local program to help with the cost of her treatment, Tanner is grateful and honored for the opportunity to pay it forward with annual Swig campaigns like Share The Love in February and Save The Cups in October.

Swig has been serving handcrafted Dirty Sodas™ since 2010. The unique beverage concept prioritizes fast, quality customer service that serves up “happiness in a cup.” The company has grown to 63 locations across seven states, specializing in delicious drinks and sweets. In 2024, Swig will add 25 corporate and 40 franchise stores to its location lineup.
