A group of diners got so drunk at a Korean restaurant last year they ended up passed out on the street – and now the owners face losing their liquor licence.

The alleged incident occurred in October last year when the group gathered at the Haru Fusion Soju Lounge on Castlereagh St in the Sydney CBD for a birthday dinner.

NSW Police say they were served the equivalent of 86 shots of alcohol as they partied the night away in October last year.

It is believed they were served the shots of soju, a Korean liquor, over a six-hour period.

Two of the diners allegedly ended up passed out on the footpath.

CCTV footage shows members of the group staggering, while a staff member can be seen walking past a man who seems to be passed out at the table.

A female diner is apparently so drunk she is carried out.

The restaurant has been given its first of three strikes by the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority.

The owner now has three weeks to prove why he shouldn’t be punished.
