Located at 14200 Nicollet Ave. in Burnsville, the popular Mexican quick-service restaurant is set to open today. The Eagan location at 3385 Denmark Ave. will open the following week on Monday, Dec. 19. Both restaurants will host a grand opening celebration at 10 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting and performances from local high school bands.

Fans will want to arrive early for the celebration as the first 100 guests in line on each opening day will receive a golden ticket valid for FREE Potato Olés for a year! The ticket is redeemable for one free small order of the little slices of heaven per week for one year.

“It’s such an exciting time of the year to be opening these new restaurants,” said Taco John’s President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Creel. “Burnsville and Eagan are wonderful communities, and we’re proud to make it even more convenient for our fans in Minnesota to get our bold flavors and real ingredients at these new Taco John’s locations.”

The restaurants will be open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. with breakfast served until 11 a.m. The drive-thru will be open until 11 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday, closing at midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Minnesota is home to more Taco John’s restaurants than any other state. The Burnsville location will mark the brand’s 58th location in Minnesota, making Eagan its 59th location. The restaurants further underscore the brand’s dedication to building a substantial presence in the North Star State after opening its Restaurant Support Center office in St. Louis Park in March of 2020.
