A popular Bellarine Peninsula restaurant is up for lease.
Tenders are open for the 21-year lease operating At The Heads, which overlooks the Barwon River Estuary at Barwon Heads.
It’s currently managed by Barwon Coast, a committee of Management, who wants to maintains the site’s current use as a cafe and restaurant.
The building featured in the popular TV Show “Seachange”.
Barwon Coast CEO Gary McPike expected a lot of interest.
“We see this as a really exciting opportunity to refresh this iconic site, protect its cultural and historic value and ensure it continues to be a valuable asset for visitors and the local community,” he said.
“Redevelopment of the site is not being considered.”
The tender period is now open until March 20.
