Louisville, KY – Jaggers
A new chain created by the founder of Texas Roadhouse is scheduled to open in Louisville this December. Jaggers will open its first location outside of Indiana on Dutchmans Parkway Dec. 7. The restaurant is billed as fast-casual, serving burgers and chicken sandwiches. In addition to its entrees, Jaggers’ menu hosts a variety of milkshakes.
Fremont, OH – Chipotle Mexican Grill
The Ohio 53 corridor continues its business expansion as Chipotle Mexican Grill is set to open in early 2021. Bob Gross, Fremont’s economic development director, said originally the developer wanted to begin in May after expressing interest in bringing the restaurant chain in February.
Ballston Spa, NY – Nani’s Indian Kitchen
Saratoga County will soon have a new spot for ethnic cuisine with the opening of Nani’s Indian Kitchen. Located at 256 Milton Ave. in Ballston Spa, Nani’s Indian Kitchen is expected to open its doors to the public in mid-November, contingent on inspections. This new restaurant is owned and operated by Milton resident Nafeesa Koslik, who is eager to share her vision, and her food, with the community.
San Leandro, CA – Pizzeria Lupo
Slices will soon consort with cocktails in downtown Reno. Chef Mark Estee, owner of Liberty Food & Wine Exchange, is taking over the former Monaciello space at 190 California Ave. to open Pizzeria Lupo. As part of the project, the new restaurant will be connected through doors to its neighbor, The Loving Cup bar.
Washington, CA – Walnut Grill
Popular local eatery Walnut Grill has announced the grand opening of a new location in the coming new year. Set to open in January of 2021, Walnut Grill American Eatery & Bar will be located at 343 Washington Rd, Old Mill Shopping Mall in Washington, Pa. The new Walnut Grill will be replacing the former Max and Erma’s location..
Hampton, VA – Charlotte’s Cafeteria
This fall in Hampton Roads, new restaurant openings have begun to slow – perhaps a sign of the times, as the projects planned since before the pandemic near completion and restaurants are leery of investing in new undertakings as the pandemic stretches ever-onward.
